Spice Girls use MAC 500 on tour and in the studio

The Spice Girls have used the MAC 500 on tour and in the studio. Girl Power reached new excitement levels with the London Weekend Television An Audience with the Spice Girls TV program. Martin provided the mood lighting in the form of 60 MAC 500 and 60 MAC 600 moving head luminaires which, at the time, was claimed to be the largest number of intelligent lights ever used on a single TV set (no longer the case).

So noteworthy was the Martin light show that a further TV program was broadcast outlining "The Making of An Audience with the Spice Girls." Host Lee Sharpe commented that the light show was "probably the most elaborate light show you will ever see on TV!"
