From November 19th till November 23rd MA Lighting Asia Pacific Pte Ltd held its first workshops in Singapore dedicated to operators, lighting designers and system integrators alike. The first three days of the workshop catered to the operators and lighting designers who wanted to get a closer look at the wide range of lighting control equipment that MA Lighting has to offer. The following two days focussed on grandMA video and networking.
The attendees had the chance familiarize themselves with the whole MA Lighting console range and gain the confidence on how to operate the consoles in a hectic show environment. The workshop was heavily subscribed and in the end 32 attendees from eight different countries came together at MA Lightings office at Ubi Techpark to get a very detailed insight into the world of programming on the grandMA. The highly anticipated network training explained how easy it is to setup a full tracking backup system with a PC and the grandMA onPC software, being a full functioning console in combination with an MA 2Port Node or an MA NSP (Network Signal Processor). Furthermore an introduction into the grandMA video media server (which can be fully controlled from any grandMA console) was given.
The event, which included evening dinners, was a great opportunity for everyone not only to learn about the products but also to network with South East Asia and to strengthen collaboration with MAs exclusive distributors in the Asian Pacific region like China, Korea, Japan and Australia.
MA Lighting Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is already planning to have two more workshops which are nearly fully booked. People interested can still put their names on the list to be notified about the dates.
