A Bright Night in London

Friday, September 14, 2007 || High End Systems

London's Club Koko set the stage Sept. 9 for an entertaining evening enhanced with High End Systems products. HES dealers, their VIP guests and the media were invited to a special twilight fete with dinner, drinks and a demonstration of SHOWGUN. A company overview by HES Executive VP Bill Morris informed the dealers of HES' current business plan and strategies for the future.

Then at 9 p.m. the doors opened and HES welcomed the worldwide lighting industry. The music cranked up and the band Apocalyptica took to the stage to put the lighting through its paces. Six SHOWGUNs, along with DL.2s, Studio Commands and Studio Beams lent their lights to the night as Wholehog 3 and Road Hog consoles controlled the action.

Apocalyptica LD Mikki Kunttu designed the musical program to show the uniqueness of SHOWGUN and of the band. Both band and lights played off each other, to the delight of the attendees. Dancing and socializing continued until 1 a.m.

UK's AdLib Lighting of Liverpool helped supply HES equipment for the event.

Those who missed this first look at SHOWGUN in the UK may catch six on tour with Apocalyptica through Europe. Anyone else wishing a SHOWGUN demonstration may contact a High End Systems sales representative.
