TrackPod wins Product of the Year award at LIVE! Show

The new Martin TrackPod, a tracking tripod for automated followspots and instant focusing, awarded Best Lighting Product of the Year by LIVE! Magazine at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The TrackPod is a a revolutionary single-operator multiple followspot tracking system used in large arenas and stages. It is a patented instrument designed to track performers in three dimensions and automatically direct intelligent lights to follow a performer wherever they move, producing a degree of followspot coordination never seen before.

Its introduction at LDI in November of last year was one of the most talked about new products at the exhibition, drawing crowds and generating a great deal of excitement.

This latest accolade joins the growing list of honors bestowed on the Martin line of followspot products which also includes an Entertainment Technology Award and TCI's Light Product of the Year, and is a testament to the talents of developer APR Inc. of Canada and manufacturer Martin Professional.
