Martin Professional launched a string of new controllers at the recent PLASA exhibition in London.
MC-X remote controller for Exterior 600 / Exterior 600 Compact
This new 7 pre-set remote controller is a handy user-interface for smaller exterior installations. Seven different pre-sets (cues) can be programmed via the MPBB1 directly into the Martin Exterior 600 or Exterior 600 Compact's memory. Once the remote controller is connected, the 7 presets can be conveniently called up on the MC-X's buttons. Furthermore the Exterior's stand- alone program can be activated as well. This remote controller also has the capability to remote control the Martin LightJockey and Martin ProScenium controllers, thereby allowing for a very easy user-interface for complex installations.
MC-1 remote controller for MX-Series, CX-Series and more
The MC-1 is a small remote-control device for operating selected Martin fixtures in their 1 channel mode. Specifically designed for the Martin Acrobat, MX-Series of scanners, CX-Series of color changers and future products, it can be used with the popular Destroyer, Punisher and SynchroZap as well.
The MC-1 provides easy yet powerful operation of the above mentioned products' music stand-alone programs. Slow, medium, fast or random mode can be selected. Additionally an in-built microphone allows all connected fixtures to be synchronized to the beat of the music. This synchronizes gobo and color selection as well. Connected fixtures can also be triggered manually by the press of a button. The MC-1 also provides a blackout and strobe control.
The MC-1 can be operated standing on a table or built into a control desk. For rack mounting, a special 3U rack mount kit is available.
2518 Twin Option
This major software upgrade gives the user the possibility to connect two Martin 2518 controllers in a Master/slave connection thereby giving the possibility for 144 consecutive DMX channels instead of the normal 72. Also 30 banks of 12 scenes can be achieved (normally 6 scenes). Easy and logical control of fixtures using up to 12 DMX channels (normally 6 channels) can be achieved.
